Harrison City, this 200-acre historic site is designated as a Registered National Historic
Landmark and is listed with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Bushy Run
Battlefield marks the Battle of Bushy Run where British troops, led by Colonel Bouquet,
defeated the Indians on August 5 - 6, 1763. The battlefield features a visitor's center, guided and self-guided tours,
educational programs, and annual special events. |

Hours:
The battlefield is open Wednesday - Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., year round. The
visitor's center is open Wednesday - Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday
from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from April 1 through October 31.
